Pilates.

Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body. With an emphasis on alignment, breathing and core engagement, Pilates is something that can be modified to cater for beginners and those who exercise regularly. It can be used as a stand alone activity to help facilitate better movement in everyday life or as a supplementary discipline for other activities such as running, cycling, riding and swimming.

Unlike other kinds of exercise, it does not require high repetition for each move. Pilates involves slow, low repetition moves that are accessible to all. By focussing on good form, the movements can be adapted to individual needs and are suitable for rehabilitation purposes. At Studio 45 we work with clients 1:1 or in small groups, offering a range of classes and programs that are tailored to the specific needs of the individual.

Pilates group classses.

Our group classes are fun and dynamic. Starting with a warm up sequence, we will take you through a range of movements that improve your balance, posture and flexibility. Our ethos is to make these classes fun and enjoyable. We believe exercise should be a pleasure, not a chore, so we aim to design our classes in a way that is inclusive and available to people of all abilities.
